      Description

Get ready to work on the iOS app. Note that you need a Mac running OS X 10.10 Yosemite or later - you must be able to run the latest version of Xcode to work on the app's code, and the latest version of Xcode will not run on 10.9 and earlier. If you can hack together a system that allows you to reliably build and run the app on a different system... that's fine by me!

First, download Xcode from the App Store or from https://developer.apple.com/xcode/download/. Do not download Xcode from anywhere else! Other sources of Xcode can have issues that can affect the app. We don't want that.

The code is available at https://github.com/undo1/openmrs-contrib-ios-client. You want to download the Git repository - open a terminal window and type:

      git clone https://github.com/Undo1/openmrs-contrib-ios-client.git

Alternatively, use the "Clone in Desktop" link GitHub provides.

Once it's done, open the workspace (OpenMRS-iOS.xcworkspace). Set the 'device' to any simulator, and click the 'play' button to start the app:

Ping me in IRC or Telegram with any questions. This can be hard to set up at first, and I'm here to walk you through it.

To complete the task, submit a screenshot of the app running in the simulator on your computer. Type your name (or username, or anything unique) into the username field. It should look something like this:
