Create unit tests for methods in LabCatalogService and below

Each method in the LabCatalogService and its dependent DAOs and POJOs that does anything other than delegate to another object needs to have at least one unit test to determine whether it produces the right result when properly called. It also needs tests about what happens when parameters are incorrectly specified. Each test should have a corresponding @should in the method being tested. Include tests with both active and voided/retired records.
