Improve UX of Login/Location screens

Situation: The login and location pages "jump around" when using a tablet, because opening the screen keyboard pushes them up. Makes for a poor user experience from the start.  

Perhaps we could pin the widgets towards the top of the screen (still with the right whitespace) so they are not moving around so much?

vs With Keyboard opened: (location of the area of interest on the screen has "jumped up" with the keyboard - ideally the height / vertical position on the screen shown here is where it would start from, so that it doesn't feel like the focus area moves around just due to the keyboard.)
