Datepicker tag with "id" attribute breaks visit date limit

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Waiting for Dev
    • Priority: TBD
    • Resolution: Unresolved
    • Affects Version/s: OpenMRS 2.1
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Component/s: None

      Description

      If you include the "id" attribute like id="something" in the <encounterDate> tag like...

      <encounterDate id="something" default="now" />

      ...it causes the datepicker to allow the user to select any date. If the id attribute isn't included the dates are limited to valid visit dates.

      Workaround

      You can bypass this bug by using id="encounterDate" (exactly like this, including capitalization).

      Dev Notes

      The fix would be in the htmlformentryui module per Mark Goodrich's helpful mailing list comments...
