      Description

Currently, to change the log output in OpenMRS a user has to visit <tomcathome>/webapps/openmrs/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.xml . This is subpar because of the technical know-how required, the complexity of the file, and the transience of the change (log level changes are lost when the webapp is updated).

It would be nice if there were an administration screen that allowed the user to update the main "org.openmrs" log level between (ERROR, WARN, INFO, DEBUG, TRACE). The solution doesn't necessarily have to be able to be done at runtime (i.e., a restart of openmrs for this to take effect is acceptable).

A runtime change to the property SHOULD be doable though. A refresh of the log4j would just be required after the change.

This value could either be stored in the runtime properties or the global properties.
