Search for patient by identifier fails when identifier is made of only letters

Steps to reproduce

1. Add a new patient with a patient identifier -"abc"
2. Fill in all the required details on the patient creation form to get the patient created
3. Do a patient search for a search string "abc"

Actual result

No search result is displayed

Expected result

Search result should display the patient with the patient identifier "abc"
