Use Global Property to Specify how Provider Search behaves

    Details

    • Complexity:
      Low

      Description

Currently the provider search is hard coded to match a search string anywhere it appears in provider identifier or name See lines of code from HibernateProviderDAO.prepareCriteria() . For example, the way it is if one entered 64 then it would match 1264, 234641, 5764...(if they all exist). Sometimes this is not a desired behavior. It would be nice if implementation could control this behavior by using a global property provider.matchmode where they can specify whether they want it to be at the START, ANYWHERE or END while keeping EXACT as a default.
