Description
The upgrade to 5.x suggested in TRUNK-5498 has some complexity to it because of the changes between Spring 4 and Spring 5. I'd therefore suggest as an intermediate step, upgrading to the most recent release of Spring 4. Doing this requires updating the Spring version defined in the pom, ensuring that all unit tests continue to pass and then ensuring that OpenMRS can be started successfully. While I don't know exactly how complex this will prove to be, it should be easier than TRUNK-5498.
